Mackenzie turns 3

Our little girl is 3 years old! She is growing up so fast!

Mackenzie is a Big Sister!

We welcomed Austin Michael to our family on October 9th, 2008. Mackenzie is so excited to be a big sister. She refers to Austin as her baby. It is soooo adorable!

1st Day of School!!

Mackenzie had a great 1st day of school! She loves hanging out with all her new friends! She is getting so big!!

Mackenzie is growing so much everyday! Some of her most recent accomplishments include riding her new bike and swimming in the big pool with the help of her fish of course. She also makes us laugh everyday, she is now the boss, telling Teddy when he is misbehaving and putting him in "time-out", declaring as she slams the door that she can go potty by herself, and letting Ryan and I know that "we need to talk" anytime she gets upset. Oh, and she has also taken up calling mommy and daddy "Stephanie and Ryan". She is so much fun at this age!

4th of July

Mackenzie had sooo much fun dancing at the Fourth of July festival and watching fireworks!

Mackenzie's New Bed!!!

We are finally just about done with Mackenzie's room and she is so excited to have her new big girl bed! She also did very well with the news that her new baby brother was going to need to "borrow" her crib. She has been such a big help getting everything ready for the new baby.

Summer Fun

We have been having so much fun hanging out at the pool this summer! It has been sooooo hot outside! Mackenzie is enjoying herself but she is a little timid around the water. Hopefully she will be swimming like a fish in no time. For now we spend most of our time in the kiddie pool.

Updates

We have just moved into our new house and Mackenzie is sooo excited to have a pink room again! We will be completing her room in the next month or so and we will post pictures of it! On another note Mackenzie is very excited about the upcoming arrival of her baby brother. He should be arriving in October. We will post some new pictures of the house shortly.

A Good Day for Mommy

Mackenzie is a very active two year old, running laps around Ryan and I. I often lay awake in bed wondering how I can cash in on this amazing phenomenon. She runs from morning until night often without a nap. Sighh... But, today Mackenzie took a nap for the first time in almost three weeks! Hallelujah!!! Mission accomplished. I would have taken a picture to document the momentous occassion, however for fear of waking the sleeping beauty I held back.
